
And that’s exactly what Indiana Jones means to me, dusty old skulls stuck on ancient trap spikes, that’s what I drew as a kid, and that’s exactly the feeling MachineGames managed to capture with this perfect recreation of an Indiana Jones movie in game form.

Okay, I perhaps have a little more to say.
Troy Baker absolutely nailed Harrison Ford’s voice, and thank goodness, because if that wasn’t right, the entire game would feel jarring. Outside of that, the late Tony Todd really steals the show. Everything about his character is intriguing and we’re always happy to see him. I suspect that we were going to see and learn a lot more about his character (Locus) in the upcoming DLC, “Order of Giants.” With the death of Tony Todd in 2024, it remains to be seen how that will affect the 2025 DLC.
If you ever played any of the Wolfenstein games from the same developer, you know they can be quite challenging. This game, however, is intended to be a much friendlier experience, for a broader audience. I played on the “Hard” difficulty level, but I think I may have enjoyed “Very Hard” more and I almost wonder if that’s the only way to get the full experience.
It’s been a while since I enjoyed a game enough to want to 100% it, and that’s this game. If you’re a fan of the movies and you play video games, there’s no reason in the world you won’t love this experience. You probably don’t need my recommendation, but…
