Halloween Hunting: Fave Finds from 2023

Another year of Halloween hunting is drawing to a close, and I’ve had a blast sharing this series with you again this season!

This year, I definitely dug into some of my personal faves and several small businesses I couldn’t believe I hadn’t shared in this series yet. I’ve featured a lot of their products in various posts over the years, but I’m glad small businesses like Witch Baby Soap and Lady Moon Co. now have their own dedicated Halloween hunting round-ups.

If you’ve missed any of them this season—or if you’re just looking for killer spooky small businesses to support all year long—check out my fave picks from all 8 shops featured in 2023!

Halloween Hunting: Fave Finds from 2023

Abbybelle Folk Art: The Creature

This guy was ADORABLE in person, and I almost picked him over my little jack-o-lantern guy. Need a Creature for your movie shelf? GET IT HERE

Abbybelle Folk Art: Wide-Eyed Pumpkin Ornament

How cute is this adorable pumpkin ornament? I’m finding more and more that I love yellow mixed into my Halloween decor. GET IT HERE

BrianBrain Studio: Salem Flyers College Pennant

Small businesses: make us more pennants, please! Brian has a few in his shop, but I love the moon and stars on this witch one. GET IT HERE

BrianBrain Studio: Trick or Treat Tote Bag

I love a Halloween tote, and this bright green design is no exception. I love all the classic goblins and ghouls hovering over this trick-or-treater’s candy stash. GET IT HERE

Needle Ghosts: Goosebumps Ghost

This little guy dropped over the summer, and it couldn’t be any cuter. The best part? You can pick your “Goosebumps” cover design! GET IT HERE

Needle Ghosts: Birthday Ghost

I love the creativity of the sprinkles being embedded IN the ghost for this birthday treat. Plus, the ghost comes with one of two card designs. GET IT HERE

Heidiroo: Trick-or-Treaters

There’s something about Heidi’s work that also evokes Charles Schultz’s style, like this line of trick-or-treaters from Inktober 2020.

Heidiroo: This is Halloween

As soon as I saw the sticker version of this on Heidi’s table at Midsummer Scream, I knew it had to come home with me. Trick-or-treating rocked, but I also loved coming home and sitting at the kitchen table with my little brother as we sorted through our candy and made trades.

Lydia Jean’s Little Ghost Shack: Spooky Stamps Tote Bag

I bought this back in the spring, and it is now my go-to post office tote bag! The straps are long, the armhole is big, and it’s perfect for carrying a small order of zines or magazines to drop off. Bonus points: you can pick your strap color. GET IT HERE

Lydia Jean’s Little Ghost Shack: Spooky Tidings Postcard Set

You can buy these individually as well, but I loved them all so I had to grab the set. Will I ever actually send them? Doubtful. I love the designs SO much! GET THEM HERE

Witch Baby Soap: Black Hat Society Soap

Each scent in the Halloween collection comes in a few items, and I love how gorgeous this soap bar is! Witch Baby soap bars are among my favorite and never dry out my skin. GET IT HERE

Witch Baby Soap: Hallowmas Body Scrub

Also in the Hallowmas scent (a scent that has returned year after year for Halloween season!) is this body scrub that looks like pumpkin pie. The scent is a caramelized pumpkin with a splash of vanilla and spice. GET IT HERE

Lady Moon Co.: Halloween Decorations Bumper Sticker

Honor kids and pets are great, but Halloween decorations are better! I love these bumper stickers and think every last Halloween lover needs one on their car…mostly so I can ask them about their Halloween decorations. GET IT HERE

Lady Moon Co.: Tricks & Treats Clutch Bag

This gem will almost certainly find a home in my closet by the end of spooky season. I love the bright orange, the clear material, and the fact that I’ve not seen a purse like this anywhere else. Bonus points: it includes a chain for wearing this cross-body style. GET IT HERE

12 Months of October Co.: Trick or Treat Mart Mug

You’ll have to follow along on Instagram for restock notices to snag one of these because as soon as they pop up in the shop, they’re gone! I finally own one, and it’s become my new favorite water cup.

12 Months of October Co.: Meet me in the Graveyard Sign

This gem has been on my wish list for quite a while now. I’ve stepped away from my black-and-white cemetery photos in my bedroom, but maybe I can find a spot for this in the new office! GET IT HERE
